White Folly

White Folly is a large installation first made for a small gallery space at the Southern Alberta Art Gallery in Lethbridge, Alberta. Scale is important in this work, which subtly embraces the viewer to create a sense of both contemplation and chaos. The reflective character of the work contradicts the overabundance of kitsch objects (approximately 16,000) that cover all surfaces of the structure.

White Folly was curated by Joan Stebbins and made with the assistance of Joel Frohman and Daron Sebelius.
