Heaven (from Antidotes for Madness)
Heaven (from Antidotes for Madness) is composed of approximately 200 cast plaster angels, a pair of ceramic birds, and a mirrored metal shelf. The objects that make up this work were found at various garage sales, in thrift stores, or were about to be discarded. The work is a play on grand religious paintings of the late Renaissance and Baroque.
